Emergency medical Fundraiser for Dan Dan (orchitis&ehr    TREATMENT)

Meet Dan Dan, a gentle and loving dog who is currently fighting two serious  medical conditions: Orchitis and EHR (Ehrlichiosis).

Orchitis cause severe inflammation and swelling of the testicles, while EHR is a tick-borne disease that attacks the immune system and can be life-threatening if not treated promptly.

Dan Dan is suffering from intense pain, infection, weakness, and discomfort. Without urgent and comprehensive veterinary care, his condition may deteriorate or even death.

What is orchitis & EHR?

Orchitis 

Orchitis is a painful inflammation of the testicles, often caused by bacterial infection or trauma. In Dan Dan's case, the swelling has become extreme and requires immediate medical intervention, which include surgery.

EHR (Ehrlichiosis)

EHR is a serious tick-borne blood disease that suppresses the immune system and affects platelet levels, increasing the risk of bleeding, anemia, organ damage, and death it left untreated.

Dan Dan's treatment plan may include:

• Diagnostic tests (blood work)

• Antibiotics for EHR

• Pain management and supportive care 

• Surgery (removal of infected tissue and neutering)

• Hospitalisation and close monitoring 

• Post-treatment recovery and medication 

Dan Dan is a rescue dog and his owner already passed away, unable to cover the high cost of emergency veterinary treatment. Every day without treatment means more pain and higher risk for him.
